AAAA Records in Shared Hosting
The cutting-edge Hepsia hosting CP, bundled with our shared hosting, will enable you to set up a new AAAA record without difficulty. When you are within the account and you navigate to the DNS Records section, you will find all records that you have for every hosted domain name or a subdomain under it. All it takes to create the AAAA record is to click on the New Record button, to pick the domain/subdomain in question, choose AAAA after which just enter or copy and paste the IPv6 address. We also have a step-by-step guide if you have never created records for your domain names, but it is less likely that you will need it as Hepsia is much simpler to work with than compared with other Control Panels on the market. Within an hour your new record is going to be working and your domain will start resolving to the servers of the other service provider. There is also an option to change the TTL value, which shows how long this record is going to be functioning if you modify it, from the default 3600 seconds to any value which the other company may require.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you've got a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to create an AAAA record for a domain you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've created, it is going to take you just a few mouse clicks in the Hepsia Control Panel to achieve that. Even if you have never had a hosting account before, you'll not encounter any difficulties because you will use a very simple and intuitive interface. All of the DNS records for your domains will be listed in a section of the CP with the exact same name, so once you go there, you'll see all records that have been created automatically or manually and you are going to be able to set up a new one by clicking on the corresponding button. A compact pop-up will appear, so with only several mouse clicks you can pick the type of record that you need and for which domain name or subdomain it will be set up. Afterwards, just paste the IPv6 address within a text box, save the modification and an hour later the new AAAA record will be 100% live. As an optional setting, you can pick how long this record will be active after you edit it or delete it in the future. This is actually the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can change from the default 3600 seconds when the other service provider demands it.
